Where Do the Tigers Rank in New CFB Video Game?

As we get closer to the release of the highly anticipated EA Sports College Football 25 video game, EA Sports unveiled its ranking of the top teams in the game.

With a 90 overall rating out of 100, Clemson is the sixth-best team in the team power rankings, behind No. 1 Georgia (95 rating), No. 2 Ohio State (93), No. 3 Oregon (93), No. 4 Alabama (92) and No. 5 Texas (No. 92).

Meanwhile, Clemson checked in at No. 10 among the top 10 offenses in College Football 25 with a rating of 87, and the Tigers are No. 5 among the top 10 defenses with a rating of 90.

Here’s how EA Sports came up with the team power rankings, per the official EA Sports website:

The Development Team meticulously examined hundreds of thousands of data points to arrive at our team power rankings. With help from our friends at Pro Football Focus (PFF), the team analyzed all 134 rosters, thousands of players, years worth of game film, and mountains of stats, ultimately arriving at our Team Power Rankings.

College Football 25 is set to release on July 19. It’s the first college football game from EA Sports to be released since 2013.
