Among the top prospects who camped at Clemson last month and picked up an offer from Dabo Swinney’s program is the younger brother of a current Tiger standout.

Strongsville (Ohio) High School linebacker Storm Miller – whose older brother is Clemson rising junior offensive tackle Blake Miller – earned the offer from the Tigers on June 8 after working out at the Swinney Camp.

The Clemson Insider caught up with Storm, a four-star recruit in the 2026 class, about the offer and much more.

“Obviously with my brother, he’s been through that whole recruiting process with Clemson, so I’ve gone down there every year for almost four years now. So, it really does feel like a second home at this point,” Miller said. “So to finally get that offer, and coach Swinney doesn’t really give out a lot of offers, so it really meant a lot. It was like a surreal feeling – almost like a ‘we made it’ kind of feeling because of my brother and stuff. So, it was super cool.”

Not only was Storm thrilled to receive that offer, but Blake, of course, was certainly happy to see his brother get it as well.

“He was just super proud of me,” Storm said. “Obviously he watched me at camp, and he said he thinks I can play there for sure. He’s not really steering me in the direction of Clemson. He kind of wants me to do whatever I want to do, so I do appreciate that. But Clemson will definitely be up there for sure when it comes time to decide.”

A 6-foot-3, 220-pound rising junior, Storm found out about the offer from Swinney himself in the head coach’s office following camp.

“After camp, we went out to eat, got some lunch with (defensive coordinator/linebackers) coach (Wes) Goodwin and my brother and my dad, and he said to go back to the facility and meet in coach Swinney’s office, and that’s where coach Swinney gave me the offer. So, it was super cool,” Storm said.

“Really (Swinney said) he’s seen the film, and he asked coach Goodwin how I did at camp, and coach Goodwin said I did good. He said he likes me as not just a football player but also a character guy too, and he said he knows what he’s getting when he gets a Miller.”

Storm is ranked as the No. 20 linebacker and No. 237 overall prospect in the 2026 class, per the 247Sports Composite.

As a sophomore last season, he registered 81 tackles, seven tackles for loss, 10 sacks and three interceptions in 10 games.

What stands out to the Tigers about Storm, on the field?

“Really my aggressiveness and my physicality as a player,” he said. “Coach Goodwin, I know he really likes that. Also, obviously big on speed too, which I’ve been improving at. Those are probably the two biggest things – speed and aggressiveness. I feel like you can teach almost everything else. Also, coach Goodwin, he’s got a really good mind for the game, which I feel like I share with him too.

“So, I feel like the un-teachables, really – everything else you can teach, but you can’t really teach your physicality, aggressiveness and then obviously the mental side of it too.”

On the flip side, there’s plenty that Storm likes about Clemson as well.

“Obviously the facilities are up there, the coaching staff is just awesome. They’re not going to do you wrong,” he said. “I feel like when it comes to recruiting, they do it the best out of any school I’ve seen in terms of how they treat their recruits and show that they care about them, and they make everyone feel appreciated. It’s just like a family atmosphere at Clemson. So, it means a lot. They just do it differently, and they’re known for that, too.”

Storm has heard nothing but great things from Blake, a 2022 freshman All-American and 2023 All-ACC selection, about his experience at Clemson and time in Swinney’s program to this point.

“He loves it. He’s going into his third year, and he loves it,” Storm said. “He’s gotten to meet new friends and stuff, likes Coach (Matt) Luke, the offensive line coach, said the coaching staff is top-tier. Coach Swinney doesn’t really use the portal, so they’re not a team that’s going to be going in the portal and kind of doing you wrong. They seriously do care about developing their players, which is awesome.”

Along with Clemson, Storm holds offers from schools such as Boston College, Duke, Kentucky, Louisville, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Stanford, West Virginia and Wisconsin, to name some.

Storm said he’s taking the recruiting process “slow, just one step at a time,” and he isn’t in a hurry to choose his college home.

“I try not to really sort out any colleges just because anything can happen,” he said. “There’s still a while, so I don’t really have any super top schools right now. Just taking the whole process slow, taking my time with it.”

Storm has camped at Clemson multiple times and traveled to Tiger Town on numerous occasions, and he plans to be back in Death Valley to watch his brother and the Tigers play again this fall.

As for where the Tigers stand with him in his recruitment after pulling the trigger on an offer, Storm reiterated Clemson will be “definitely up there when it does come time to commit” but added that Blake playing there won’t be a big factor in his own commitment decision.

“I feel like my brother, him playing there is cool, but him playing there doesn’t really influence me,” Storm said. “It’s kind of like I want to be on my own page just doing whatever I want. He definitely helps me out, but I’m just going to make the decision based on me and not really him.”
