National chain opens automotive repair business in Clemson

ChristianBrothersAutomotive has landed in Clemson and is open for automotive repair and maintenance.

Under the ownership of local residents Aaron and Amanda Steele, the Clemson shop is parked at 551 Old Greenville Highway. The shop offers a variety of professional automotive care services from simple upkeep and repairs to preventative maintenance, according to a news release.

The business is in a modern building occupied for the last two decades by My Garage.

“After dedicating 10 years to serving in the fire service as a paramedic, I’ve always been driven by my passion for helping others. When I first joined ChristianBrothersAutomotive as a service adviser, I found a brand that aligned perfectly with my values of service and community,” Aaron Steele said in the release. “This brand changed my life, and opening our own location is an opportunity to pay it forward. By providing a space where people can experience the same life-changing support and care I received, drivers in Clemson will be in good hands.”

The location is open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The parent company in January stated its intentions to grow this year, particularly in the Southeast and Midwest.

“Our people-first approach atChristianBrothersAutomotive has been the foundation of our business since 1982,” Donnie Carr, president and CEO ofChristianBrothersAutomotive, said in the release. “I am confident that Aaron will offer drivers in Clemson the chance to keep their cars, and lives, running as smoothly as possible. Our goal is to provide guests with more than just reliable transportation. We have faith that every location will foster an environment where guests feel comfortable and empowered to make informed decisions about their vehicles.”

The Clemson location joins 290ChristianBrothersAutomotive locations across the nation. ChristianBrothersAutomotive offers free shuttle service, educational estimates and complimentary courtesy inspections.

Under the ownership of resident Will Fogarty, a Simpsonville shop opened last spring at1216 W. Georgia Road at the intersection of E. Standing Springs Road and W. Georgia Road.

The company was founded in Mission Bend, Texas, in 1982.
