Clemson QB Target Sets Commitment Date

Clemson’s lone remaining QB target has set a commitment date.

4-star Tait Reynolds (Coconut Creek, AZ) told The Clemson Insider that he will announce on July 7.

The 6-foot-3, 215-pound signal caller picked up his offer from the Tigers in early June after working out at Dabo Swinney’s high school camp on two different days. He was the first quarterback in the class to pick up an offer.

Reynolds spent much of the first week of June on campus. Oklahoma, Texas AM, and Miami are the other schools the quarterback told TCI he worked out for over the summer.

“It was awesome,” Reynolds said of his Clemson visit. “I would say they have cool facilities and everything, but it’s just the people there. It’s just a whole lot of love. Everybody’s family. People you want to be around and a whole lot of energy. It’s just awesome to be around all those people. And the environment was just amazing.”

“They are definitely the frontrunner for me.”

Reynolds was at one time committed to play baseball for Arizona State, but decommitted last week in favor of opening things back up. He is ranked as high as No. 243 overall and No, 18 among all quarterbacks in the 2026 class.
