Clemson baseball is losing another player to the South Carolina Gamecocks.
Former Tiger infielder Nolan Nawrocki announced via Instagram that he has committed to play for South Carolina. He jumps ship to the Tigers’ in-state rivals.

The redshirt sophomore played in 36 games this season, starting 34, and posted a .264 average with four home runs, 24 RBIs, and 11 stolen bases. He split time between third base and designated hitter.

During the NCAA tournament, Nawrocki went 1-for-7 with one RBI and two walks and was involved in a shoving match with Florida’s Jac Caglianone in the Clemson Super Regional. Nawrocki, a New York native, joined the portal just before the July 2 deadline, following teammates Billy Barlow, Nathan Hall, and Cooper Blauser. Nawrocki joins Nathan Hall as the second Tiger to transfer to South Carolina this offseason.

The Tigers will see Nawrocki next season on the diamond.
