Another former Clemson baseball player has found his new college home.

Cooper Blauser confirmed to The Clemson Insider that he is transferring to Jacksonville State.

Blauser put his name in the NCAA transfer portal earlier last month following his redshirt freshman season in 2024.

The Johns Creek, Ga., native appeared in 12 games in 2024, starting eight of them. He had three hits and three RBI in 29 at bats. One of those three hits was a home run and he also had one double. His last appearance came against Pitt on April 20.

Prior to joining Clemson in 2023, Blauser was ranked as the No. 448 player and No. 104 shortstop in the nation by Perfect Game, and the No. 44 player and No. 13 shortstop in Georgia by Perfect Game. He lettered four times in baseball and three times in football at Wesleyan School, where he was a member of the state championship team as a senior.

His father, Jeff, played baseball in the majors with the Atlanta Braves and Chicago Cubs and was an All-Star Game selection in 1993 and 1997.
