4-Star WR Target Commits Elsewhere

One of Clemson’s final wide receiver targets came off the board on Thursday.

4-star WR Samari Reed (Monarch, FL) announced a commitment to Ole Miss on Thursday, choosing the Rebels over other finalists Clemson, Penn State, West Virginia and Kentucky.

Reed was one of two wide receivers to attend Clemson’s big official visit weekend in early June. He picked up his offer back in March after an unofficial visit to campus.

Clemson’s 2025 recruiting class currently features 13 commitments and is ranked inside the Top 10 by multiple services. 4-star Ju Ju Preston is currently the only wide receiver committed, with the Tigers still looking to add at least one more at the position. 4-star Dillon Alfred is the top remaining target, with the former Ole Miss commit set to return to Clemson on July 25 to attend the All-In Cookout.
