A speedy local wide receiver had the chance to showcase his skills while camping at Clemson last month, and he has continued to stay in touch with receivers coach Tyler Grisham since.

Christ Church Episcopal School (Greenville, S.C.) class of 2025 prospect Jackson Repp participated in the Dabo Swinney Camp on June 5.

“I really enjoyed the camp and the way it was organized,” Repp told The Clemson Insider. “I got lots of hands-on coaching from coach Grisham and other coaches, so that was nice. It’s always fun to compete against top talent and to receive good coaching.”

Last season, Repp posted 63 receptions for 1,510 yards and 27 touchdowns en route to being named the 1A Region 1 Player of the Year. He is also a track standout and has shown off his wheels with a 4.32 40-yard dash, according to his profile on X (formerly Twitter).

The 5-foot-8, 167-pound rising senior received positive feedback regarding his camp showing from Grisham.

“Coach Grisham had positive things to say about my performance at camp and said it reflected the type of player that I was on film,” Repp said. “He emphasized that we’d be staying in touch in the future, and we’ve kept communicating since camp.”

In addition to working with Grisham, one of the highlights of Repp’s camp visit was spending time off the field enjoying one of the amenities in Clemson’s football facility.

“I really enjoyed getting to work with Coach Grisham and work on my craft. I got to get a better understanding of his personal way of coaching, and compete against some really good talent,” he said. “Outside of football, I’d say my favorite part was playing on the golf simulator. I’ve been playing a lot of golf lately and I played with a few of the current players, so that was fun.”

Repp, who has seen his recruitment pick up plenty of steam this year, scored his first offer from Elon in late February and has steadily racked up offers since then. He now owns more than a dozen offers, including offers from schools such as Boston College, Air Force, Army, Princeton, Georgia State, Furman, Wofford and Charleston Southern.

Did his camp visit to Clemson give him a better feel for where things stand with the Tigers at this stage of the recruiting process?

“The camp was another opportunity to communicate with the coaches and to continue building a relationship,” he said. “Since the camp, I’ve had contact with Coach Grisham and hope that will continue. I’m hoping we can continue to build on that relationship. It’s my understanding that my performance and film in the first few weeks of the season will be important to my evaluation.”

Repp felt right at home while on campus for the Swinney Camp, and he hopes to make the short trip back to Tiger Town during the upcoming season.

“I didn’t really get a chance to tour the campus completely, but I really liked all of the coaches I met, and the facilities were great,” he said. “Everyone involved with the camp was really nice and made me feel welcomed from the second I stepped on campus. I liked Coach Swinney’s message about the stability of the program and the emphasis on the importance of education.”

“I live close, so getting back to Clemson would be pretty easy,” Repp added. “I’m hoping to come down during the season for some gameday visits, but it will just depend on how the recruiting process unfolds.”
