    Multiple agencies reporting phone line issues in Upstate

    (WSPA) – Multiple 911 agencies announced Tuesday morning they are currently experiencing phone line issues.

    Pickens County Sheriff’s Office said all seven-digit lines are currently inoperable. The sheriff’s office is working to correct the statewide problem.

    Cherokee County E911 said they are experiencing phone trouble, along with most of the state. Anyone having an issue getting through to Cherokee County E911, please call (864) 487-2747.

    Laurens County 911 said they are working on the issue with our phone lines. 911 lines are coming back up but are still experiencing issues. The county mentioned they have admin lines back up at this time. If you can’t get through on 911, call (864) 984-2523 & advise you have an emergency.

    The City of Clemson Police Department ‘s non-emergency lines are down. Call (864) 444-3319 or (864) 533-6718 for non-emergency situations until the lines are back up. The city said the outage does not affect emergency 911 calls. The emergency lines are functioning correctly.

    Greenwood County Sheriff’s Office announced they are experiencing problems with the 911 phone system. If you are having an emergency, you can call the non-emergency line at (864) 942-8632.
