A major NCAA rule change is forthcoming as it pertains to scholarships and roster limits as part of the settlement to the House case.

The Clemson Insider wrote in May about how the changes will allow Clemson baseball to finally have a solution to a longtime problem .

According to several sources the conferences have agreed on the new roster sizes and scholarship adjustments.  The new roster limit for football will move from 85 to a new 105-man roster limit.

In addition to the increased football scholarships, the baseball scholarship/roster size will be increased to 34, while basketball will be increased to 15, softball will be increased to 25 and volleyball will be increased to 18.

Schools will now be able to give full scholarships all the way up to the new roster limits. A school can decide to give full scholarships all the way up to the roster limits, or give full scholarships to some student-athletes and partial scholarships to others.

The new roster limits will take effect in the 2025-26 season.
