CHARLOTTE — Following Spiring Practice, Clemson lost two players to the transfer portal. Freshman defensive end Adam Kissayi and sophomore offensive lineman Zach Owens.

How does Dabo Swinney plan to replace the two scholarships?

On Thursday from the ACC Football Kickoff in Charlotte, Swinney confirmed one of the scholarships was already in use by long snapper Phillip Florenzo.

“We will talk about that when we get into camp,” Swinney said. “We were at 84, Phillip Lorenzo, our long snapper was on scholarship. Somebody was going to have to come off scholarship. It put us at eighty-four. So, we got one spot, so we will go through camp and see what happens there.”

Clemson will begin fall camp on Aug. 1, at the Allen Reeves Football Complex in Clemson.
