Clemson 2025 Recruiting Class: Quality Over Quantity

Clemson has added two more pieces to its 2025 recruiting class in the month of the July.

The most recent was the addition of 4-star LB Logan Anderson, who announced a commitment while at the All-In Cookout last weekend. Anderson picked up his offer after an impressive workout at camp back in early June.

The weekend before that, 4-star DE Bryce Davis committed to Clemson. Davis’ addition is a big one, with the Tigers beating out Georgia, as well as Duke and South Carolina for the Top 60 talent.

After those two additions, here is where the Clemson recruiting class ranks at three of the major services.

• 247 Composite: No. 12
• Rivals: No. 14

However, a closer look at those numbers would suggest the Tigers’ current class is a little stronger than those rankings suggest. Clemson is sitting at 15 commitments, with most teams ahead of them having closer to 20, or even more.

Taking a look at the average star rating is probably a better gauge of the talent level the Tigers have on board in the current class. By that metric, the class is inside the Top 10 at all three of those services.

For those that follow recruiting closely, it’s widely known that the number of commitments factors prominently into the overall rankings. Maybe a little too much. That’s not to say that quantity doesn’t matter, it does. However, so does the quality of the class. Maybe even more so.
