Clendenin roadway reopens after crash

UPDATE (8:05 p.m. on July 16, 2024) – The roadway has reopened after a crash in the Clendenin area Tuesday.

Metro 911 also told 13 News that at least one person was transported from the incident.

CLENDENIN, WV (WOWK) – A roadway is shut down after a crash in the Clendenin area.

According to Kanawha County Metro 911 dispatchers, the crash happened just after 6 p.m. Tuesday in the area of Spencer Road and Wellford Hollow Road in Clendenin. Dispatchers say at least two vehicles were involved.

Dispatchers say there have been reports of injuries from the scene, but no one has been taken to the hospital yet and there is no word on how many people are injured.

The roadway is currently shut down due to the crash.
