Frazie murder trial starts Monday
The murder trial of Shumway Hollow woman Brooklyn Frazie is scheduled to begin Monday in the Scioto County Court of Common Pleas. Frazie is accused of running down her boyfriend, Scott Donahoe, along U.S. 52 in New Boston after a high-speed chase on Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2023. Donahoe was riding a motorcycle when Frazie is alleged to have struck him twice near the CVS Pharmacy in New Boston.

Marshal Service offers reward for capture of wanted man
CHARLESTON, W.Va. — The U.S. Marshal Service has offered a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of a Rand, W.Va. man wanted for violent crimes. Marshals are looking for Tiwan Robert Bailey, who goes by the nickname “Quick.” He’s known to frequent the Rand area and Marshals say it’s likely he has friends who are helping to conceal him from law enforcement in that area. He also has family members and other ties on the west side of Charleston.
Mingo County man with felony warrants apprehended by deputies following foot pursuit
MINGO COUNTY, W.Va. (WCHS) — A Mingo County man with felony warrants was apprehended by deputies last week and is now suspected of distributing illegal drugs. Eric Keith Murphy, 44, of Williamson, has been charged with malicious wounding, wanton endangerment, possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, possession with intent to deliver a counterfeit controlled substance, fleeing on foot and obstructing an officer, according to a news release from the Mingo County Sheriff’s Department.
