Greiner Buildings and Plaza Grand Re-Opening Alive After 5
Greiner Buildings is thrilled to announce the long-awaited reopening of Greiner Plaza. After extensive renovations, their state-of-the-art Greiner Plaza is ready to welcome visitors back. Join them for an evening of celebration, live entertainment, and community spirit at the Alive After 5 event hosted by Greiner Buildings and Plaza tenants. The celebration will be held on Friday, August, 2nd, beginning at 3pm with a Chamber Ribbon Cutting and Main Street Red Carpet Celebration. From 3-6pm there will be tours, food and drinks, and at 4:30pm there will be a Special Elvis Performance. Greiner Plaza is located at 120 E. Main St, Washington.
Washington Chamber Welcomes Another 3 New Members
The Washington Chamber of Commerce has welcomed three new members. Northside Diner, East Washington Auto Wash, and Walmart. Northside Diner is only open for lunch, but they are soon opening for dinner too: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday:10:30 am-3:00 pm. They are closed on Wednesdays and Sundays. East Washington Auto Wash is open 24 hours, 7 days a week, and Walmart has all of your household or outdoor items and groceries. POSTVILLE, Iowa — An Oelwein couple is hospitalized after the three-wheeled motorbike they were riding was hit head-on by a car. It happened around 4:15pm Saturday afternoon at the intersection of Highways 18 and 52 west of Postville. The Alllamakee County Sheriff's Office says 31-yaer-old Mitchell Meyer of Dorchester swerved out of his lane to avoid a vehicle that had stopped to make a turn.
