Nationally recognized Living Historian, Dr. Curt Fields, will be back for a unique presentation as Ulysses S. Grant, in honor of US Grant “Day” on Saturday, April 27 in Georgetown, Ohio. In celebration for his 202nd birthday, the US Grant Homestead Association of Georgetown will be hosting a program titled: “Grant’s Seldom Told Stories” starting at 10 a.m., at the Gaslight Theater located at 301 S. Main Street, Georgetown, Ohio. After a break for cake and lunch (by donation) at the United Methodist Church Fellowship hall across from the venue, the 2nd part of the program will begin around 2 p.m., back at the Gaslight Theater. Attendees will also enjoy period music, and a chance to buy souvenirs, along with the presentation. This is a free program.

Prior to this event, the US Grant Homestead Association will be partnering with the Brown County Historical Society on April 25 at 7:30 p.m. at the Georgetown United Methodist Church for a program with Chris Burns on Grant’s Generalship (A Modern View!).
