MEDINA, OH — Majestic Meadows Alpacas & Boutique in Medina, Ohio, is more than just a farm; it’s a family-run agritourism destination that provides interactive animal encounters and seasonal events. Established in 1994, the farm spans over 20 acres and is home to a diverse array of animals, including alpacas, llamas, kangaroos, camels, and even prehensile porcupines. Visitors can enjoy hands-on experiences while learning about animal care and sustainability.

During a recent visit, Cleveland 13's Nikkie Brown toured the farm with co-owner Jeff Farley. They started their morning by feeding Tuck, one of the farm’s two large camels, with grain. Nikkie also had the chance to meet the farm’s alpacas, goats, sheep, and other animals, including a 100-pound tortoise.

Majestic Meadows offers not only animal interactions but also a unique retail experience. The farm’s boutique is stocked with alpaca products, such as clothing and yarn, alongside animal-themed gifts. Jeff and his wife Faye, who have run the farm since its founding, are committed to fostering a family-friendly environment that promotes an appreciation for animals. “Our mission is to create an engaging agritourism experience that fosters appreciation for animals through hands-on interactions, education, and high-quality alpaca products,” Jeff said.

As the fall season begins, Majestic Meadows is preparing for its Halloween events, which have become a seasonal highlight. Grace Lattimore, a staff member at the farm, provided Nikkie with a tour of the three haunted barns currently being developed for the Halloween season. "We have tarot card reading, real snakes and spiders, and much more. Everything is family-friendly, but the fright nights are mostly for older kids and adults," Lattimore said. Along with these spooky attractions, the farm hosts trick-or-treating and other Halloween activities designed for younger children.

Visitors to the farm are also impressed by its cleanliness, a point that Nikkie highlighted during her visit. "This is one of the cleanest farms you can visit," she noted. Jeff agreed, saying, "We pride ourselves on it. We hope to have the cleanest farm around."

Majestic Meadows continues to innovate by integrating technology into their operations. The farm now offers online booking for tours and events, including their popular goat yoga sessions. Their social media presence on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok allows them to engage with a broader audience and keep the community updated on events and animal care.

As the farm looks toward the future, Jeff and Faye aim to expand their offerings, bringing in new animals and experiences that will enhance the farm’s appeal as an agritourism destination. “Our vision is to be a leading agritourism destination, offering immersive animal experiences that deepen connections to the animal world and inspire future generations to appreciate and protect them,” Jeff said.

Majestic Meadows Alpacas & Boutique is located at 4195 Abbeyville Road, Medina, Ohio, and offers visitors a chance to experience a wide range of animals while learning about their care in a fun and educational environment.
