Ferworn qualifies for U.S. Amateur Championship
DALLAS, Texas (July 22, 2024) – University of North Alabama freshman golfer Andrew Ferworn qualified for the 124th U.S. Amateur Championship at Hazeltine on Monday, finishing his qualifying round with a four-under-par 66 at the Brook Hollow Golf Club in Dallas, Texas. Ferworn — a Houston native — completed his freshman season at UNA this past Spring. He earned a spot on the Atlantic Sun Conference All-Freshman team after recording three top 10 finishes.
