So post game assessments by Stefanski say that we need to be more explosive, especially when you know that your OL isn't going to be able to give Watson the time and protection he needs to throw those deep passes. The conservative approach would be to call short slant crossing passes over the middle or screen plays that would allow Watson to get rid of the ball much quicker not to mention that these type passes would have a much higher completion rate than those explosive deep balls in conjunction with controlling the TOP clock! Any NFL QB worth their salt is capable of completing those short quick release passes, however as long as your mindset believes that those explosive deep ball passes you call are the way to go, we're doomed!
