Electrical fire likely cause of house fire that killed elderly couple, says sheriff
LE SUEUR COUNTY, Minn. — The Le Sueur County Sheriff says an "electrical component" likely caused a house fire that killed an elderly couple last Sunday. The Montgomery Fire Department was one of four departments that responded to a 911 call at nearly 1 a.m. and discovered Betty, 73, and Roman Jindra, 76, dead in their kitchen. The sheriff says Betty had called to say the couple was trapped inside.

MINNESOTA - ATV clubs can request additional funding to cover trail repairs that happened this year with all the rainfall. During a recent legislative session, ATV Minnesota got thousands of dollars added to the Grant-In-Aid fund. Clubs are able to request a supplement once they have spent most of their existing funding. ATV Minnesota President Ron Potter says that clubs need to keep at least $1 in their current grant account otherwise it will be closed because you can’t supplement a closed account.
