(Minot, ND) — Despite cost overruns U.S. military officials have decided to move forward with upgrades to the Intercontinental Ballistic Missile system. The Sentinel program includes upgrades to 150 missile launch facilities in North Dakota. Senator John Hoeven says the upgrades are critical to the mission of installations like Minot Air Force Base.
