Dangerous Heat Sets in with Overnight Storms This Weekend
FRIDAY: It will be another sunny & hot day! High temperatures will reach the upper-80s to low-90s during the afternoon and evening hours, thanks to the mostly sunny skies along with our upper-level pattern. The heat index (feels-like temperatures) will inch into the mid 90s. There is chance of showers/storms Friday night. Across North Dakota and into northwest MN, there is a Marginal Risk (level 1/5) for severe storms with quarter-sized hail and gusts to 60 mph possible.
Jamestown City Crews to Conduct Mosquito Fogging in Northeast and Southwest Areas
JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – City crews in Jamestown will be conducting mosquito fogging operations this week in the Northeast and Southwest areas of the city. Fogging in the Northeast and Southwest areas is scheduled for Thursday, July 11, starting at approximately 9 p.m. The operations will continue until completion each night.
