A distressing CCTV footage captured the last moments of little Julian Wood's life , as he innocently played with his mother's shopping cart at their local grocery store.

The video then unfolds a horrifying scene where a woman, known later as Bionca Ellis, approaches the family in the busy North Olmstead Giant Eagle supermarket in Cleveland, waving a kitchen knife. Tragically, in just six minutes, young Julian was left grievously injured in the car park while his mother Margot desperately implored emergency services, saying "don't worry about me."

Emergency services hastily attempted to rescue the young boy's life, whilst nearby, 32 year old Ellis was restrained, gripping the bloody knife. The nightmarish incident on June 2 was recorded by surveillance cameras and police body-cams.

Ellis, who has been accused of the stabbing, had allegedly nicked two knives from a second-hand shop earlier that day. She was filmed walking up and down outside the Giant Eagle before entering at 2:58 pm, with a knife seen in her hand.

After she stepped inside, she paused, spun around and started tracking Margot and Julian, according to the Mirror. After a mere twenty-five seconds, Ellis emerged from an unchecked area without the mother and son, staying near the exit until they approached, reports the Mirror US .

As they proceeded to exit, Ellis positioned herself to trail them, caught by additional cameras watching them into the parking lot.

At the scene, Margot hastened Julian towards their car, a red hatchback, opened the boot, and started to unload groceries, oblivious to the terror that was about to take place. Ellis apparently carried out a ferocious assault on a mother and child she had never come across before, leaving the police searching for her motives.

Terrified shoppers and employees flooded the 911 lines as they were unable to halt the random stabbing.

One frantic caller recounted: "There's a child, he's bleeding all over the place... they're giving him CPR."

Another man, showing great bravery, narrated how Ellis approached them and "just stabbed" with his ears filled with "just screaming."

After the attack, the attacker merely walked away. However, one man showed determination not to let her get away, hopping in his vehicle and trailing her, while updating the authorities about her movements.

Just minutes later, at 15:04, the police cornered Ellis in a side road, drew their guns, and commanded her to lie down on the road. As they placed handcuffs on her, one of the officers spotted a knife lying close by on the grass.

Heartbreakingly, when the ambulance crew arrived, the paramedics relayed to colleagues that there was "no pulse" when they tried to revive young Julian.

At that moment, Julian's dad, Jake Wood, arrived frantically seeking his son. The police arranged a ride for him, tailing the ambulance to the hospital.

At the hospital, despite Margot's injuries not being critical, sadly, Julian succumbed to his injuries.

A public defender revealed that Ellis demanded to be present at the pre-trial hearing, now set for Monday. Her bond is set at a million dollars.

The police have indicated that more charges may be filed when the case goes before the Cuyahoga County Grand Jury.
