Cleveland man “Beasly” arrested in local drug trafficking sting

BELMONT COUNTY, Ohio — A Cleveland man is behind bars after being arrested in Belmont County for drug trafficking.

According to the Belmont County Sheriff’s Office, on June 21, Detectives with the Sheriff’s “Criminal Interdiction Unit,” with the assistance of the Bellaire and Bridgeport Police, served a search warrant at a Jefferson Street address in Bellaire.

Officials say Brandon Gaffney, 41, aka “Beasly” and or “Dinero”, was arrested and booked on Felony 1 trafficking in methamphetamine, F1 possession of methamphetamine, F3 trafficking in fentanyl, F3 possession of fentanyl, and F5 possession of criminal tools.

Gaffney is currently being held at the Belmont County Jail with a $85,000 bond.
