WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — The Cleveland Cavaliers have added former Wichita State Shocker Craig Porter Jr. to their NBA Summer League roster.

Porter joined the Cavaliers as a free agent after being undrafted in the 2024 NBA Draft. He played his way into a two-way contract that was later converted to a full four-year deal with the Cleveland franchise.

Last season, Porter averaged 5.6 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 2.3 assists in 12.7 minutes per game for the Cavaliers. He shot 50.9% from the field and 35.3% from beyond the arc.

The NBA Summer League starts tonight with the California Classic, but Porter and the Cavs won’t get started until July 12, when the NBA 2K25 Summer League begins in Las Vegas. Those games will air on the ESPN family of networks.
