Since then, allegations have come out against the two in past fishing tournaments, where they were believed to be cheating in those as well. Not to mention, Chase Cominsky had another set of unrelated charges dropped on him, as he was charged with stalking his ex-wife, and supplying his 18-year-old son with counterfeit money. The two eventually plead guilty to a felony count of cheating and a misdemeanor animal ownership violation. The remaining charges of attempted grand theft and possessing criminal tools were dropped, according to FOX 8. The two were ultimately slapped on wrist with just 10 days in jail and a $2,500 fine. On top of that, Cominsky's Ranger boat and trailer were forfeited as it was not only likely purchased with the winnings from illegally won tournaments, but was also a "criminal tool" the two used to cheat. And now... that very same boat, is up for auction. With an estimated value well over $100,000, the boat is up for auction on Government Deals , which holds the tagline "a liquidity services marketplace." With 10 days to go, the bid has been resting at $82,000 for the 2022 Ranger Pro FS 622, 22ft. bass boat, which features a Mercury Verado 400 horsepower outboard motor, supercharged L6, with stainless steel prop and electronic controlled hydraulic steering with 69 hours of runtime.
