How will Dolphins WR Odell Beckham Jr. be received by Browns fans?

Cleveland Browns fans have long memories of the good, bad, and ugly that has happened to their beloved Browns.  That's why it will be fun to watch the Dawg Pound react as one of its former stars, Odell Beckham Jr. returns to Cleveland for the first time as a member of the Miami Dolphins.

OBJ was a member of the Browns for 2 1/2 seasons and was famously released in 2021 after his father, Odell Beckham Sr. published a scathing social media video condemning Baker Mayfield's quarterback skills.

Beckham Jr. recovered well, ending up on the Los Angeles Rams Super Bowl-winning team before tearing his ACL during the game.

In 2023, he was a member of the Ravens, and though he played in one game against the Browns, it was in Baltimore.  (He was recovering from injury and inactive for the Ravens vs. Browns game in Cleveland on October 1, 2023.)

When he returns to Cleveland Browns Stadium on December 29 as a member of the visiting Dolphins, will the fans forgive him for the controversy he stirred up during that tumultuous 2021 season?  It remains to be seen, but it is worth noting that Beckham Jr. and Mayfield buried the hatchet.  They were caught conversing last season before the preseason Ravens vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers game.
