Are the Cleveland Browns on the hotseat in 2024?

The AFC North is arguably the most competitive division in the NFL. Each year, NFL analysts attempt to predict who will win the division between the Baltimore Ravens, Cleveland Browns, Cincinnati Bengals, and Pittsburgh Steelers.

Though the Browns have been more successful in recent years, in the Kevin Stefanski era, the team could be on the hot seat if they do not play well in 2024.

The Browns have made two playoff appearances in the past four years, but they have never won the AFC North division.  They have played well against the Bengals but have struggled against the Ravens and Steelers.

The team needs to clean up all of this and win the division to help their postseason pursuits. Instrumental to winning the division is good quarterback play from Deshaun Watson.  Injuries and issues have severely limited his time on the field, and it is go-time in 2024.  Watson needs to be healthy and firing on the cylinders he once was in Houston.

Watson's trade deal severely limited the future draft picks for the Browns; however, there is an aging set of talented draft picks in Myles Garrett, Denzel Ward, and Nick Chubb among others whose talents are being wasted during their peak years.
