Deshaun Watson Left Stunned After Receiving Unexpected Summer Gift

Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson just got a shiny new piece of jewelry.

Watson received a state championship ring from a high school team that wanted to repay him for supporting its football team.

The Glenville Tarblooders, who were among the schools present at Watson’s 7-on-7 Tournament at Berea-Midpark in Ohio on Wednesday, gave Watson a state championship ring as a form of appreciation for the three-time NFL Pro Bowler.

The Tarblooders won back-to-back state titles in 2022 and 2023 and got state championship rings from Watson.

Upon receiving the ring, Watson made a bold promise that will also have Browns fans excited for the 2024 NFL season.

"I appreciate y'all," Watson said, per Camryn Justice of News 5 Cleveland .

"You see that right there? I'm going to get y'all one of those Super Bowl [rings]...we got to make that happen. We need two rings by the end of the year, man."

Watson is still working to get back to full health after a season-ending shoulder surgery last November. The Browns hope he will be ready by Week 1 of the 2024 NFL season, which will be his third with the team.

Last season, Watson appeared in just six games and passed for 1,115 yards and seven touchdowns with four interceptions, for a 61.4 percent completion rate.
