2 killed in Friday night shootings in Cleveland

CLEVELAND (WJW) — A 30-year-old man and a 35-year-old man were killed in a Friday night shooting .

Cleveland police responded at about 9 p.m. to a report of a man who had been shot in the 2700 block of East 108th Street, according to a Saturday afternoon statement from a police spokesperson.

That’s near the Shaker Boulevard intersection.

Police officers arrived to find firefighters treating a 30-year-old man. EMS workers arrived and pronounced the man dead at the scene.

Officers found a 35-year-old man in a vehicle nearby who had suffered multiple gunshot wounds. That man was transported to a nearby hospital and later pronounced dead.

Homicide detectives are now investigating. Police did not release any more information on Saturday afternoon.
