New OC but same old story for the 2024 Cleveland Browns

Ken Dorsey replaces Alex Van Pelt as the Cleveland Browns offensive coordinator in 2024. Some Browns fans hoped that this meant a changing of the guard with the Browns offense in terms of playcalling, but head coach Kevin Stefanski recently confirmed it does not.

Stefanski announced that he will continue to call the plays this season. He has called the plays every season he has been the Browns head coach. The only time he did not call plays was when he was quarantining with COVID-19.

Stefanski says that though he is the playcaller, there will be a heavy collaboration with Dorsey and other staff members. He is the reigning NFL Coach of the Year who called plays for five quarterbacks last season.
