WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, WV (WVNS) – The Cleveland Browns hit the ground running for day 2 of their training camp at the Greenbrier.

How are the Cleveland Browns helping Greenbrier County?

They may not be playing full contact yet, but they are getting some good 11-on-11 reps.

One of the biggest storylines for the Cleveland Browns is Coach Kevin Stefanski’s announcement that he will still be calling plays this year.

Stefanski has called the plays for the Browns for his entire tenure there and the hiring of new offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey will not change anything.

Quarterback Deshaun Watson shared his thoughts on this big coaching decision.

“Him and Ken is doing a heck of a job this year meeting together, communicating together in the offensive rooms and also the QB room. So, we’re not just hearing one voice, we’re hearing multiple voices and they’re on the same page as you can see, or as I can see, you guys haven’t seen it yet,” said Watson.

Watson is returning from a shoulder surgery and is back to looking like his old self.

Coach Stefanski is still yet to decide on Watson’s playing time for the preseason, but Watson tells us he is right on track with where his doctors want him.

Another star player who is battling through injuries is Myles Garrett. Garrett told 59News how he is making the most out of this training camp despite his injury woes.

“It feels like the guys are looking up and saying, ‘yo bro, give me something.’ ‘How can I improve here?’ ‘What’s your thought process here?’ ‘How are your steps?’ And I’ll give them my answer whole heartedly. This is what you’re doing. This is what I see. This is how I feel like you can improve,” said Garrett.

After the practice, I was able to catch up with former WVU star linebacker Tony Fields II. He says he still loves the Mountain State more than ever.

“Oh man, I love it. I’ve came out here every day since we got on the bus and we first got here, like, ‘Cue Country Roads.’ Every time we walk on the field, I’m like ‘Cue Country Roads,’ and I get my song going,” Fields told 59News.

Cleveland Browns return to the Greenbrier for the second year with a fresh offensive perspective

Fields cited consistency in games, as well as practices as the biggest adjustment he made from college to the pros.
