    Browns RB D’Onta Foreman hospitalized after ‘direct blow to the head’ during practice

    ( WJW ) – Cleveland Browns running back D’Onta Foreman was taken by an ambulance from practice on Thursday and then transported by helicopter to a medical center in Roanoke, Virginia, the team announced on X .

    According to the post, Foreman sustained a “direct blow to the head that resulted in neck pain.”

    He was immobilized by the team’s training staff before being transported to the hospital, the team said.

    “Foreman had movement in all his extremities,” the post said. “Updates will be provided as more information is received.”

    The team has been practicing at The Greenbrier Resort in White Sulpher Springs, West Virginia.

    Foreman, 28, is entering his eighth NFL season. He was originally drafted by the Houston Texans in the third round in 2017 after playing for the Texas Longhorns. In addition to the Texans, Foreman has played with the Tennessee Titans, the Carolina Panthers and the Chicago Bears. He signed with the Browns as a free agent in March.
