BEREA — The Browns are back in town.

After holding their first seven training camp practices in the relative seclusion of The Greenbrier in southeastern West Virginia, the Browns will make their season debut in front of their fans Sunday afternoon at their Berea headquarters. The 2 p.m. practice is one of the six remaining training camp practices for the team that will be open to the fans, including two others this week on Tuesday and Thursday.

For the Browns , though, Sunday will be about building off what they started in West Virginia. It's also about, hopefully, getting a few of the players who have sidelined for the start of camp back on the field sooner rather than later.

Follow along here for updates from the Browns' first training camp practice back in Berea:

Safety Ronnie Hickman back on the field

Safety Ronnie Hickman was back on the field after missing the final practice at The Greenbrier on Friday. Hickman had left last Thursday's practice with what appeared to be a hamstring issue, although head coach Kevin Stefanski would not officially confirm that diagnosis.

Linebacker Jordan Hicks leaves practice with trainer

The Browns ' linebacking corps took another hit as veteran Jordan Hicks left practice with a trainer during individual drills. There was no immediate word on the nature of the injury.

Any sort of injury that cost Hicks time would mean all three "starting" linebackers for the Browns would be sidelined. Both Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah and Tony Fields II have missed multiple practices.

D'Onta Foreman back with Cleveland Browns, watches practice

Running back D'Onta Foreman was back on the field watching practice Sunday. He's two days removed from having sustained a direct blow to the head in a punt drill that required him to be airlifted by helicopter from The Greenbrier to a Roanoke hospital.

Head coach Kevin Stefanski said Foreman is not in concussion protocol.

No word yet on preseason plans for Deshaun Watson's playing time

Head coach Kevin Stefanski once again declined to indicate what decisions have been made on if or when quarterback Deshaun Watson will play during the Browns' three preseason games. Cleveland opens the preseason at home Saturday afternoon against the Green Bay Packers.

Stefanski did indicate that a decision could be forthcoming this week.

"We're working through that," Stefanski said. "I've talked to the coaches about it. We'll have an update this week but really want to sit down with the coaches and talk through it."

Stefanski did say the plan was for Watson to throw every day this week.

Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah continues to be sidelined from practice

Linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah was once again not a practice participant. He has now sat out three consecutive practices.

Neither head coach Kevin Stefanski nor anyone else on the Browns have indicated what the nature of the injury is causing Owusu-Koramoah to miss time.

Defensive tackle Shelby Harris and guard Wyatt Davis were the only other players not on an injury list who were not in practice.

Greg Newsome II present at Browns practice after hamstring surgery

Cornerback Greg Newsome II was present at Browns training camp on Sunday, the first time he's been seen since he underwent surgery on his left hamstring. He was placed on the non-football injury list at the start of camp, although head coach Kevin Stefanski said the goal was for him to return for the Sept. 8 season opener against the Dallas Cowboys.

Elijah Moore working through concussion protocol after leaving Friday's practice

Wide receiver Elijah Moore was working through the concussion protocol, according to head coach Kevin Stefanski. Moore was injured when he collided with cornerback Denzel Ward during a 7 on 7 drill on Friday's final day at The Greenbrier.

Stefanski wouldn't state for certain that Moore had a concussion.

"I'm not going to go into all the details of it," Stefanski said, "but as you know, when you get in that protocol, there's certain things you have to pass to get out of it."

Myles Garrett expected to practice for Cleveland Browns

Defensive end Myles Garrett is expected to participate in on-field drills for the first time this training camp. Garrett, the reigning NFL Defensive Player of the Year, had basically worked off to the side with a trainer during the seven practices at The Greenbrier.

Garrett's workload isn't expected to be significant Sunday, according to head coach Kevin Stefanski.

Cleveland Browns add safety Faion Hicks to roster

The Browns made three moves prior to the start of Sunday's practice. They signed safety Faion Hicks, while waiving safety Dyshawn Gales and releasing center/guard Brian Allen (calf) from the reserved/injured list.

Hicks was originally a seventh-round pick in the 2022 of the Denver Broncos out of the University of Wisconsin. The 5-foot-10, 192-pound Hicks appeared in two games his rookie season before spending last season on the New Orleans Saints' practice squad.

Jerry Jeudy says he's 'feeling good,' expects to be full practice participant

Wide receiver Jerry Jeudy has seen little on-the-field practice time, really dating back to the offseason program. All of that has been because of an injury.

Jeudy did go through individual drills during the final two practices at The Greenbrier. On Sunday, prior to the Browns' first practice in Berea, he said he expected to be a full participant in drills.

"I'm good," Jeudy said prior to Sunday's training camp practice. "I'm out here today. So, I'm good."

When asked if that included 7 on 7 and 11 on 11 drills, Jeudy said, "Yeah. Yeah."
