Browns Offensive Line Top 5 in NFL Rankings

The Cleveland Browns have been known for their defense over the past few years, consistently ranking near or at the top of several defensive statistical categories over that time.
But the Browns have quietly been improving their offensive line too, to the point where it's a unit near the top of the NFL.
The 33rd Team's Ross Tucker ranked each team's offensive line unit as it stands during training camp, and the Cleveland group came in at No. 3 - in the "Above Average" tier.
"Critical question or takeaway: Dawand Jones played well enough in place of an injured Jack Conklin at right tackle last year, so the Cleveland Browns are covered at that spot regardless. However, left tackle Jedrick Wills needs to elevate his performance to that of the guys around him."
The ranking assumes the starting lineup of Jedrick Wills at left tackle, Joel Bitonio at left guard, Ethan Pocic at center, Wyatt Teller at right guard and Jack Conklin at right tackle.
Back in May, the returning veteran Teller - who has played in Cleveland since 2019 - was impressed with new offensive line coach Andy Dickerson and his pedigree.
"Coach Andy (Dickerson), he's awesome," Teller said . "He's getting after us, making sure we're running, making sure that we're going to the right places and everything like that. I mean, that doesn't change from coach to coach. It's a little bit of a transition. It's different. But at the end of the day, he learned under Bill (Callahan). So, a lot of his techniques, a lot of his jargon is Bill's stuff.
"Work's cut out for us. We know we're going to have to work, but we're excited. I think that coach is getting us in the right direction."
