Emery girl’s volleyball kicks off region schedule with win over Richfield
The Lady Spartan volleyball team spent last weekend in Nephi for the Juab Tournament, and when they came home they jumped into the Region 12 portion of their schedule as the Richfield Wildcats made the trip to Castle Dale. As the two teams battled through the match going the distance, Emery came away with the 3-2 advantage to move their overall record this season to 5-2.
Helper Rams Are Off to a Great Start
Helper RAMS are off to a great start to the new school year. Our students are excited to be back in school and participating in all of the great activities that make Helper unique. We will kick off the fun activities with the annual color dance on August 30. Students will also be traveling to Kingsbury Hall on October 24 to watch Duck Pond performed by Circa.

Carbon girl’s volleyball gets win over Juab at home
In the first match of their region schedule, the Lady Dinos fell to North Sanpete. Thursday the Juab Wasps were in Price. Carbon needed four sets to close out Juab 3-1. With the win, Carbon moves to 4-6 overall and 1-1 in region play. In two weeks the initial RPI will be released to rank the teams in 3A, and they will continue to be updated until the end of the season when the final numbers will be used to set the field for the State Championships.
