Building where Parkland school shooting happened fully torn down
PARKLAND, Fla. (CBS12) — After more than six years, the site in Parkland where 17 people lost their lives to a school shooter has been fully demolished. Crews have completed tearing down the 1200 building on the campus of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. They started in mid-June, when a crane began pulling down sections of the three-story structure, which had been known as the freshman building.

FORT LAUDERDALE — An off-duty deputy with the Broward Sheriff's Office died in a motorcycle crash in Sunrise on Independence Day.The International Union of Police Associations announced on Instagram that Anthony Zahorovsky, 27, was killed in the accident."Anthony's loss is deeply felt by all of us," the IUPA shared.
