Ron Amato Publishes Book of Portraits of Provincetown’s Artists
In May, Ron Amato, professor of Photography and Related Media, released Artists of Provincetown, a book of photographic portraits of artists who live in the seaside Massachusetts town. Made over a period of eight years, the book contains 84 images of sculptors, painters, photographers, and writers, illustrating the artistic breadth of this 125-year-old community, known as the United States’ oldest continuous art colony.

La MaMa to Launch 'Experiments In Playwriting' Fellowships This Season
1 2024 New York Independent Theater Honorary Award Recipients Announced!. La Mama Experimental Theatre Club is launching a new playwriting fellowship launching during its 2024-25 season: “Experiments in Playwriting” Fellowship will offer two early career playwrights in the NYC area an artistic home at La MaMa for the course of one year. The fellowship seeks to encourage playwrights from underproduced communities with an emphasis on members of the LGBTQ+ community, people of color, and people with disabilities. Throughout the course of the fellowship, playwrights will work with playwright and fellowship mentor, Justin Elizabeth Sayre. Fellows will meet with Sayre on a monthly basis to discuss their work and the works of previous La MaMa playwrights such as Maria Irene Fornes, Jackie Curtis, Sam Shephard, Robert Patrick, Adrienne Kennedy, and many more.

NJ Senior Freeze Program: Property Tax Relief for Southern Ocean County
