Was it the dysfunctional sisters? Was it the cowardly novel writer? Was it the saccharine couple? Was it the mysterious young lady? Or was it the goofy Englishman?

You will be sitting at the edge of your seat –in stitches– trying to figure out who the killer is at the Tin Building Theatre's production of 'The Clock Struck One.'

You don't want to miss the suspense as the characters question each other's motives after a man (Hank) is found dead in a hotel room in the middle of a winter snowstorm.

The murder-mystery – with a little bit of humor– will return on Friday, May 10, at 7:30 p.m. and for a dinner performance at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 11.

Due to the recent floods, the theatre troupe will present an additional matinee on Sunday, May 12.

Written by Craig Sodaro and directed by Don Boysen, the show features several fine veteran and new-to-TBT actors.

Joanne Grelle plays a worried Regan Tasker who meets her sister inquisitive Connie Girard played by the incredible Debbie Rollins at the hotel for an awkward family reunion.

Jan Slade portrays Essie Manson, the murder victim’s sister who benefits greatly from her brother’s untimely demise as the new owner of the hotel.

Kevin King and Connie Terry team up as the super sweet husbandwife combo Clark and Keeky Curtis.

On a side note, King’s facial wound –caused by accident from a real runin with a steer– really added to his character and enhanced the suspense.

Michael Richardson returned to TBT as Nigel Grimm, a novelist who lives a conspicuously private life, so private that he hides in other people’s closets.

Rounding out the talented cast are TBT newcomers Jaycie Thornton as femme fatale Sarah Dane and Bill Selby as a comedic British national.

Director Don Boysen and assistant director Rollins truly collected a phenomenal ensemble cast with great chemistry.

The rest of the crew included stage manager Troy Fisler; stage crew Skye Baker and Tomas Tremillo; set construction Boysen, Charles McLean, and Carl Grelle; light/sound Schmidt; publicity Lorana Rush and Rollins; and dinner theatre Boysen.

The show in two acts consists of five scenes split by a 15-minute intermission.

Tickets are still available for “The Clock Struck One” by calling (254) 675-3724 or visiting online at www. bosqueartscenter.org.
