10 a.m. – The Lake Whitney Amateur Radio Society will hold its monthly meeting at 10 a.m. at the Lake Whitney Public Library, 602 East JeffersonAvenue in Whitney. The organization supports Hill and Bosque counties and invites anyone with an interest in learning more about amateur radio to attend. 8:30 p.m. – Meridian Parks and Recreation will host a free family movie night at the John A. Lomax Amphitheater in Meridian City Park, starting at 8:30 p.m. The movie will be 'Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny.' There will be hot dogs and popcorn served.

10 a.m. - 10:45 a.m. – The Religiosity Class at Our Savior's Lutheran Church at Norse will complete viewing the award-winning movie, 'Here I Stand.' It will then expand its study of the Reformation to include how the life and theology of John Calvin grew into the Puritan and Separatist movements, the Pilgrims, the Congregationalists, the United Church of Christ, and the Presbyterians. All ages are welcome. Classes and coffee are free.

12 p.m. - 3 p.m. – The Bosque Animal Rescue Kennels will host a celebration of foster dogs available for adoption at its facility at 4340 Highway 6 outside Clifton. The event will include BBQ from Rockin’ K&C BBQ and live music. For more information, visit www.barkrescue.org.

6:30 p.m. – Clifton High School Baccalaureate is set for this evening.

6 p.m. – The Clifton ISD Board of Education is to meet in the board room of Clifton Middle School at 1102 Key Avenue in Clifton. Meetings begin at 6 p.m. and are open to the public. Posted 72 hours before the meeting, the agenda is available online at www.cliftonisd.org. Called meetings are scheduled on an as-needed basis, although Texas law does allow the Board to call an emergency meeting in a crisis situation.
