Pro-wrestling event to benefit CVFD Saturday

The Clash in Clifton Pro Wrestling Event is scheduled for Saturday June 1, 2024, at the Clifton Middle School Gym. Proceeds from this event will benefit the Clifton Volunteer Fire Department.

Advanced general admission tickets are on sale now at Douglass Chevrolet GMC. They are $10 in advance or $15 on the day of the show at the door.

The Clash in Clifton will be a family friendly event put on by 360 Pro Wrestling based out of Belton. 360 Pro Wrestling puts on wrestling events throughout the year around Texas featuring some of the biggest stars in the world of professional wrestling.

The Clifton event will feature a title defense by 360 Heavyweight Champion “SuperTex” Brent McKenzie. McKenzie won the title back in March at an event in the Grove. McKenzie is a native of Moody and has been wrestling over 10 years. He has wrestled some of the biggest names in professional wrestling.

Also advertised for this event is former WWE Superstar Charlie Haas. During his time with the WWE, Haas was a member of Kurt Angle’s “World’s Greatest Tag Team” along with Shelton Benjamin. He is also a former WWE Tag Team Champion. Haas who now resides in Florida is originally from Texas.

This event is exactly like the pro wrestling you see on TV. Over 15 of 360 Pro Wrestling’s larger than life superstars will be battling it out at the Clifton Middle School Gym. 360 employees from all over the world. Most of which have wrestled for several mainstream wrestling promotions such as WWE, TNA, AEW, and the NWA.

This event will be very kid friendly. Kids 10 and under are free with a ticketed adult. Each free child entry must be accompanied by a paid adult. Free kids tickets are available in local businesses around Clifton.

Doors will open at 6 p.m. with bell time being at 7 p.m. VIP tickets are on sale right now. Visit the Clifton VFD Facebook page for information on how to purchase the VIP tickets. VIP tickets will include a meet and greet with Charlie Haas and SuperTex Brent McKenzie.

Proceeds from the concession stand and ticket sales will go to the Clifton Volunteer Fire Department. The card subject to change.
