    The Clifton Municipal Court’s monthly report for November from Judge Jeff Hightower and Court Clerk Berta Herrera was received by the Clifton City Council on Tuesday, June 11, 2023.

    A total of 83 violations were logged by the court during the month.

    A total of $17,681.60 was collected in May 2024 on fines from previous charges, along with $5,816.98 in court costs.

    Fiscal year-to-date collections by the court stand at $108,185.31 in fines and $40,261.13 in costs.

    May violations charged, with number of occurrences for each charge included: Criminal mischief, 1; display fictitious altered LP, 1; disregarded barricade signs, 2; disregard no passing zone, 1; disregard warning signs, 1; driving while license invalid, 4; expired registration, 11; FMFR (no insurance), 19; failure to identify, 1; improper driver’s license, 1; no DL, 14; open container, 1; operate unregistered MV, 2; operate vehicle without license plate, 1; permit unlicensed minor to drive, 1; possession of drug paraphernalia, 4; reckless damage or destruction, 2; reckless driving, 1; restrictions on windows, 1; speeding, 13; theft, 1.

    The Clifton Police Department’s lobby / administrative hours are Monday – Friday, from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
