Former Clinton County Legislator and Peru Town Justice Peter Keenan Sr. passed away today. May he rest in peace.
He was born in Peru on March 18, 1930, the son of Joseph Geraldine (Ryan) Keenan. At Peter’s request, there will be no public calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, July 26, 2024, at 11 am at St. Augustine’s Church in Peru, with Rev. Christopher J. Looby, parish priest, celebrating. Committal prayers, military honors, and inurnment will follow at St. Augustine’s Memorial Columbarium.
