PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — The 17-year-old girl who was killed when the small plane she was piloting crashed in central Pennsylvania on the Fourth of July is being remembered by those who knew her. Maisie Bitler died when her plane crashed in Lock Haven, Clinton County, last week. According to the Federal Aviation Administration, the single-engine Cessna 172 crashed in a wooded area around 10:30 a.m. on July 4. Bitler was pronounced dead at the scene. Clinton County Dems donate to LHFD
The Clinton County Democratic Committee recently held a water/sports drink drive for first responders in Lock Haven. The committee, along with candidates William McGill and Denise Maris, donated over 20 cases of water and hydration to the local fire departments last week. Lock Haven Fire Department replied, “We want to say a special thank you to the Clinton County PA Democratic Party for their generous donation of drinking water and sports drinks! These cases will be distributed to our Citizens Hose Station and our Eastside Station.
