• May 31 — Manasse Augustin, 22, of 110-B Williams St., Clinton, was charged with fleeing to elude arrest with a motor vehicle, driving while license revoked, reckless driving to endanger, failing to stop-steady red light, drive left of center, driving while impaired, reckless driving wanton disregard, no liability insurance and canceled/revoked/suspended certification/tag. Bond set at $21,500; court date was June 7.

• May 31 — Worley Spearman, 32, of 604 Eastover Ave., Clinton, was charged with three counts of trafficking opium or heroin. Bond set at $100,000; court date is June 24.

• May 31 — James Francis O’Brian IV, 30, of 2655 Honrine Road, Clinton, was charged with two counts of shoplifting. Bond set at $500; court date is July 22.

• May 31 — Roberto Perez-Hernandez, 24, of 12 Maddie Lane, Rocky Point, was charged with driving while impaired, no operator’s license, open container and failure to burn headlamps/rear lamps. Bond set at $1,000; court date is July 22.

• May 31 — Kenneth Wayne Bryant Jr., 44, of 424 Tarheel Drive, Clinton, was charged with possession of Schedule II controlled substance, assault by strangulation, assault on a female and fleeing to elude. Bond set at $20,000; court date is June 24.

• May 31 — Tyvon Amire McDonald, 19, of 192 Doc Highsmith Lane, Roseboro, was charged with possession of stolen property, driving while license revoked and fictitious tag. No bond listed; court date is June 27.

• June 1 — Gil Anthony Escobar-Cardona, 18, of 109 Loop Road, Clinton, was charged with two counts of sexual battery and two counts of simple assault. Bond set at $10,000; court date is July 18.
