Miss Tennessee Teen Volunteer pageant comes to close
JACKSON, Tenn.—The Miss Tennessee Teen Volunteer pageant is back in the Hub City. Many residents filled the seats of the Carl Perkins Civic Center for the Miss Tennessee Teen Volunteer competition. This is a title awarded to the winning contestant by the Miss Tennessee Volunteer organization, a non-profit based here in Jackson.

Aubrey Barnhart has committed to Tennessee softball, she announced Friday night, following former Texas Tech coach Craig Snider. Barnhart, who is from Pleasant View, Tennessee, wrote, "I’m coming HOME!" in her social media post. The 5-foot-8 utility player was at Alabama for two years before transferring to Texas Tech for the 2024 season.
