The Manitowoc Area Visitor and Convention Bureau is hoping a deal can be struck soon with the City of Manitowoc. The Vice President of the MAVCB, Gary Stolp tells Seehafer News that they want to start using room tax dollars to help the entire county get more visitors, but “Currently, we’re sitting with an extremely large amount of money that is in escrow until we can get the contract worked out with the city of Manitowoc.”
19-year-old in Fond du Lac arrested after allegedly robbing a Kwik Trip of $600+
FOND DU LAC, Wis. (WFRV) – Police in Fond du Lac say they arrested a 19-year-old robbery suspect who is accused of taking over $600 from a Kwik Trip Monday morning. According to the Fond du Lac Police Department, on July 15 around 3:40 a.m., officers responded to a Kwik Trip for a reported robbery. Police say the suspect went into the Kwik Trip and placed a note on the counter that read ‘Give me all you got in the cash registers before anyone gets hurt.’
