Packers begin to report to camp this week
The first signs of the 2024 season will rear their heads on Wednesday when the first Green Bay Packers players report to Lambeau Field this week. Quarterbacks, rookies, and injured players report to camp ahead of the rest of the roster on July 22nd. The Packers will host 16 open-to-the-public practices, all of which begin at 10:30 a.m. One of those practices will be a joint effort with the Baltimore Ravens on August 22nd, ahead of their preseason game at the end of the month.
Fond du Lac fair to offer sensory-friendly hours, activities
FOND DU LAC, Wis. -- In an effort to make the Fond du Lac County Fair a sensory-inclusive event, the fair announced Monday it will partner with SSM Health Treffert Studios to create a designated area on the fairgrounds for individuals with sensory needs.

Saturday's Game Between Wisconsin and West Michigan Suspended in Second Inning
The Force was not with the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers on Star Wars Night. A downpour hit Neuroscience Group Field in the bottom of the first inning of the game between the Rattlers and West Michigan Whitecaps and forced a suspension of play at the end of the frame. The game will be resumed in the top of the second inning on Sunday at 1:10pm. There will not be a second game played on Sunday. The second game will not be rescheduled. A softball game between local Fire and Police sponsored by Capital Credit Union will take place thirty minutes after the conclusion of the suspended game.

Southern Wisconsin is under a Severe Thunderstorm Watch, according to the National Weather Service Storm Prediction Center. The watch will be in effect from Sunday afternoon until early Monday morning. The area covered by the watch spans around 60 miles north and south of a line extending from 45 miles south-southwest of Mason City, Iowa, to 55 miles south of Racine, Wisconsin.
