Robert Herjavec’s Twins Hudson and Haven Share Business Advice: ‘Be Kind, Stay Calm, Ignore’ Haters

Taking advice from the pros! Shark Tank star Robert Herjavec turned to his two youngest kids, Hudson and Haven, for their thoughts on how to approach the tough world of business.

The Croatian-Canadian entrepreneur, 62, sat down with his 6-year-old twins for a sweet video shared on Instagram on Monday, October 7. “Hi everyone, some great business advice today from two of my business associates,” Robert said, panning the camera over to his kids. “Hello, Hudson and Haven!”

The Dragons’ Den star then asked his kids to share their business advice. Hudson said, “Give them kind and calm.”

“Be kind and stay calm,” Robert repeated. “That’s really good advice because business can be chaotic.”

Meanwhile, Haven said, “If someone’s being not nice to you, you can ignore them.”

“Yes! That’s right, because there’s gonna be a lot of people in life telling you you can’t do it, you’re never gonna make it, and what are we gonna do? Ignore them,” Robert added.

Robert also asked Hudson what kind of business he would start, to which his son replied, “A dinosaur toy business.” Haven’s response? “A dancing business.”

“I wonder where she gets that from. No idea,” Robert joked. The TV personality competed on season 20 of Dancing With the Stars in 2015 alongside dance partner Kym Johnson, who went on to marry Robert in 2016. The pair welcomed Hudson and Haven two years later.

“See if you agree with them!” Robert added in the caption. Many fans did agree with the kids and gushed over their wisdom in the comments.

“Great advice!” one fan wrote, while another user added, “Adorable and smart I wonder where they got that from?!”

“Sweet kids with thoughtfulness,” a third person commented.

In addition to Hudson and Haven, Robert shares kids Caprice, Skye and Brendan with ex-wife Diane Plese. The former couple, who tied the knot in 1990, welcomed their three children during their 26-year marriage. Robert and Diane, 65, split in 2014, and she filed for divorce in 2015.

After meeting on Dancing With the Stars, Robert and Kym, 48, moved on together and expanded the family with their adorable twins in 2018. The Australia-born dancer exclusively told Closer in March that her husband is “such a great dad” to Haven and Hudson.

“My husband’s so supportive,” she said. “He’s very hands-on.”

Kym explained that Robert was completely supportive of her going to work on her Lifetime movie, Hunting Housewives, with NeNe Leakes and Denise Richards.

“He’s like, ‘Yeah, go do it. I’ve got the kids, it’s all good,’” she continued. “And we were actually in Canada. We moved to Canada four years ago, so I still get to see them when I wake up in the morning. They’re in bed by the time I get home from the sets, but at least I see them in the mornings.”

Of Robert encouraging Kym to move forward in her career, she said, “He’s like, ‘Don’t limit yourself, do it.’ And it’s so true. It’s like life’s too short. If you want to do something, work hard, take lessons. I’m taking singing lessons every week and acting lessons, and it’s like, if that’s what you want to do, work hard and do it.”
