Aug. 26—LIMA — A Kentucky woman with ties to Delphos pleaded guilty Monday to a charge of endangering children as part of a negotiated deal with prosecutors. Amber Carpenter, 34, will be sentenced Sept. 30 on the third-degree felony charge. She faces a maximum of 36 months in prison but could be sentenced to a term of community control. Suspect arrested after allegedly shooting into vehicle with child inside
TOLEDO, Ohio — One person was arrested and charged after allegedly firing shots into an occupied vehicle in central Toledo Saturday. According to a Toledo police report, officers responded to the 2600 block of Elm Street just after 2:30 p.m. Police determined the suspect, 20-year-old Tresean Woods, who knew the victims, fired shots into a vehicle occupied by a 24-year-old and a 2-year-old.
